Meritor WABCO Pneumatic Brake Control Valves Now Available on Freightliner Vehicles
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 20, 2002)

Meritor WABCO Vehicle Control Systems announces the availability of its pneumatic brake control valve package as optional equipment on Freightliner Century Class, Columbia, Argosy and Coronado vehicles.

Beginning immediately, Freightliner dealers can spec the complete package on their customers’ vehicles. Included in the package are: quick release valves; dual circuit foot valves; dash valves; tractor protection valves; spring brake control valves; relay valves; check valves; and trailer hand brake valves. The valve package is engineered as a complete system for optimal performance
and less maintenance.

The company’s pneumatic brake valve offering features die-cast aluminum and engineered-grade composite technology that resists corrosion and delivers consistent performance in a wide range of conditions. The use of push-to-connect fittings and standard NPT ports allow for installation and
service flexibility.
