ELM for Tractors
The Meritor WABCO ELM is designed to electronically sense and control the tractor rear air suspension during operation. The ELM supplies air to the suspension only when needed. This results in optimum control of tractor ride height with minimal parasitic compressor load on the engine.
| Features
|
Benefits
|
|
Premium aluminum valve body with heavy-duty internal solenoid valving |
Longer life, less maintenance |
Large internal air passages and valves
|
Rapid raising and lowering of rear suspension height when required for quick trailer coupling/uncoupling |
|
Weather-resistant, electronic, bayonet-type connector ports |
Ensure internal electronics are protected from shorting or malfunctions caused by the intrusion of moisture |
|
Electronic inductive height sensor and automatic return-to-ride height at preset vehicle speed after suspension air dump |
Controls ride height; optimized driveline angles; reduced vibration and wear on drivetrain components |
| Electronically-controlled solenoid valves |
Reduces air consumption by suspension, lowering wear cycles on air system components to help extend compressor life. Maximum available driveline power with reduced fuel consumption |
| Optional pressure sensor |
Monitors rear axle load |
